About the Author

eduardo sigal

Eduardo “Boots” Sigal was adopted from the jungle of Costa Rica. From the early age of 11, Sigal was included by his father, a successful real estate professional, in meetings with his longtime partners as well as tours of commercial properties. These people remain some of the most successful professionals in real estate, making those experiences invaluable.

Over the decades, Sigal grew his own professional relationships and investment portfolio. He also earned his Entrepreneurship MBA at Pepperdine, joined ICSC, and founded his consulting and investing company, Signet Investments, as well as affiliated companies.

While Sigal is more of a listener than a talker, his curiosity led him to conduct a series of interviews and, eventually, to create The Signet Podcast. There, he dives deep into how fellow long-term investors approach investing, expanding these discussions to insights and investment walk-throughs. Writing this book has been an opportunity for Sigal to express the deepest, most valuable lessons that he has learned for achieving success in real estate.
